Creativity and Counselling Gold Coast

It may come as a surprise to you to discover that everyone excels in at least one if not two areas of creativity i.e. each one of us is naturally creative.

Within each one of us, there is either a natural born painter, singer, writer, actor, sculptor, or dancer  etc. Although many of us will live our entire lives without any awareness of this.

Unless you grew up in an environment that supported your creative expression, you may find that you struggle to express your creativity and inadvertently live with the belief that you are not creative at all. If you were criticised when you experimented with singing, dancing, writing etc in your formative years, you may have suppressed your creativity deep beneath layers of shame. If this is the case you may find that when you summon the courage to express yourself, you feel crippled with shame.
